For the inaugural edition of WomanFest Ghana, a week-long online and offline festival created by the Library Of Africa and The African Diaspora (LOATAD) to challenge narratives around women and girls in Ghana, we asked women across the country to record a video of themselves responding to the question, “What does it mean to be a woman in Ghana today?”
We received a number of responses from women of all ages and backgrounds that give an insight into the challenges and joys of womanhood in modern Ghana. Watch some of them below.
